“It is with great confidence that I recommend International Builders & Consultants, Inc., (IBC). IBC did an extraordinary job on the architectural millwork installation on the Hollywood Casino at the Kansas Speedway. The schedule was very difficult and fast paced, but IBC’s professionalism in handling this tight schedule was extraordinary. They are a company I would rely on to complete projects on schedule.”

"We recently hired Brandy's firm to provide the installation of cabinets and woodwork at the Swope Ridge Geriatric Facility. The approximate contract for the installation package was $24,000. Brandy and her crew did an outstanding job coordinating and performing the installation. Our company had a slight manufacturing issue that Brandy and her people corrected in the field at a reasonable cost. We were more than pleased with the end result and the professionalism they showed. We would not hesitate to hire her company again when the need arises.
If you should have further questions, or require clarification, please do not hesitate to contact me at the listed number."

Meeting our schedule was extremely important, we appreciate your efforts to make the millwork installation painless for us. It was a pleasure working with International Builders & Consultants, Inc. You and your team were willing to take the extra step to successfully complete the project on time with great craftsmanship.
I look forward to working with International Builders and Consultants, Inc. in the future and would recommend them for any project.
Above the construction norm, this project was subject to many changes in design and scope. This placed some extra requirements and scope changes upon your crew to an already tight and changing schedule. As a seasoned Superintendent, I do not impress easily, but was pleasantly surprised with the organization and dedication to the work and the schedule changes that impacted this work. The quality of your work was very good and there was great care to assure the proper handling and installation of the products.
I hope to see you on many future jobs to come.

I want to give my unequivocal recommendation of International Builders Consultants, Inc. (IBC).
Our experience with IBC includes working on one of the single largest projects that we have worked on at BlueBoat International, LLC. The project being a 25-story luxury apartment building with some of the highest rents in the city.
We provided cabinets, counter tops and shower doors. IBC’s professionals performed the unloading and installation of the cabinets and the shower doors on the project for BlueBoat. Their unloading team was efficient and took extreme care of the material during the unloading and distribution process. This is an extremely important aspect of the business to us as the greatest risk of damage to our products comes during this process.
Their installation professionals did some of the best work we have seen. This is probably the most important part of our business, as the final look of our materials is tremendously impacted by the fit and finish performed by the installers. Just as importantly, the team’s ability to resolve issues on site is unparalleled, saving time and money.
As a result of our experience with IBC, we will continue to try and partner with them on as many future projects as we can. I highly recommend contracting or partnering with IBC. If you would like to speak to me directly about our experiences, please feel free to contact me directly at 314.503.0462.

Foley Company is providing a letter of recommendation for International Builders and Consultants (IBC) related specifically for the construction of the ATK Lake City Army Ammunition Plant Building 65 Phase II project in Independence, Missouri. IBC’s scope of work included providing and installing doors, door frames, door hardware, bathroom finishes and accessories, and other misc items.
IBC demonstrated their safety awareness, experience, capability and qualifications in completing this project. This project had a number of challenges related to existing conditions of the building, tight construction schedule, and coordination between numerous trades and contracts. IBC was responsible and very professional in dealing with and the resolution of these and other issues in which pertained to their scope of work. This ultimately played a major factor that led to a successful project for ATK.
It has been a pleasure working with your company in recent months. You, along with Jeff Pollock, have been extremely helpful and responsive to our requests. Your pricing remains competitive and I believe you understand the value of relationships and service. I also appreciate you giving back to the community and your outreach in the marketplace. I enjoy seeing you at functions like the Builders Association. You understand that you have to earn the business and don’t rely solely on certifications.
Kansas City has a host of contractors that are certified WBE or DBE providers who take advantage of the process and do not try to earn the business as a professional. Your ability to estimate the work, remain competitive, service the client and cash-flow your organization make you stand out in the pack. We appreciate all of those attributes when looking for a partner.
Please let me know if we can be of service to you and we look forward to finding future avenues where we can be successful once again.

Woman Founded and Woman Owned
Over 20 Years of Experience in IBC Working for You
"My dream was always to own my own business, " said Brandy McCombs. She comes from a family of entrepreneurs; both her father and grandfather owned businesses. As Brandy grew up, she learned the value of hard work and the pride of ownership.
After spending some time in the general contracting business working for others, Brandy decided to take that knowledge and the contacts she had made to start her own contracting business. IBC was launched in 2008 as the Florida construction market took a downturn. Fortunately, she chose Kansas City as a new location with more potential in the construction industry.
She took a leap and relocated IBC to Kansas City and has built a business as a subcontractor, getting her foot in the door to grow the business. IBC has worked on projects around Kansas City such as the Hollywood Casino, Country Club Bank, Children's Mercy Hospital, LEGOLAND Discovery Center and Sea Life Aquarium, the Kansas Speedway, the Jackson County Courthouse Clock Tower and more recently the KC Downtown Streetcar Line.
IBC has expanded to include Traffic Controls around the state of Missouri. Their commitment to excellence means they provide qualified, state-of-the-art equipment for best traffic safety services. They work diligently to provide high Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards while completing jobs on time and budget.
The loyalty and dedication of the team is something Brandy says she could not be successful without. She takes pride in Team IBC and the respect and camaraderie that has come from close relationships. She believes it is these relationships that bring the team together to get the job done on time and with the excellence she expects.
Pride of ownership and entrepreneurship shows in the work and legacy Brandy is building all around the Kansas City area and beyond. One woman can do great things, and when coupled with a dedicated team she can move mountains, or granite or whatever the construction finish may be.
Team IBC has over 20 years of experience in the Construction and Traffic Control Business.
IBC has established the values of Innovate, Balance, and Collaborate. These are the pillars by which we operate in all aspects. IBC’s purpose is to “Build Better Lives.”
